God apples last 30 seconds. I guess maybe the fire resistance part last longer.
Anyways, you are obviously getting your information from a bad source. NCP stops a ton of a hackers, and without it there would be lots of hackers in every game. With it, I rarely find a single one.
People won't be giving up optifine. For some people, optifine is the only thing that lets them play MCSG. We would lose thousands of players because they can't play without it. We lose very few players to NCP.

This is the WORST suggestion ever. 1. This is illegal, like wow. 2. You say many others will give up optifine? Maybe 2/15ths of people. And 3. Having access to .jar means you have access to anything else.

You can't do client file checks in Java, as it's:
1. super easy to falsify
2. insecure because Java can be decompiled and deobfuscated with ease
