I don't think we were behind the Hive....anyways, this is a great idea. It should get a lot of new players on our servers, and a ton more awesome maps will get submitted. It finally gives me a reason to try making my own map, because why not

I already had to disqualify a few for this reason as maps MUST be brand new to the contest date. So any past work would not qualify. This rule is something PMC wants us to enforce as it's unfair to people just starting the map builds vs people who worked on theirs over a month.

Fair enough. I wanted to submit Warrior Woods, but what you say makes sense, so I might have to start on something new.

Guys, there's no doubt that MCSG is WAY better than the Hive SG, but Hive is a lot more popular at the moment. There's about 1000+ players online at HiveSG at all times while there is roughly 500+ at the busiest here. MCSG is still way better though.

Keep in mind, SG is 1/3 of their servers. We have MCTF2 and ZedChase
