Community Vote: What if we were to add back exploding podiums?

People keep talking about the new players dying/etc, it wouldn't be an issue if a message displayed at the beginning of the game that if you leave your podium you'll be shot in the air and killed. If they STILL die after that it's their own fault for not reading in my opinion.

Reasons:
1. You should die from the shooting up, so you cannot exploit it by landing in the water in Breeze. Also, don't forget the lighting!

2. No one lagged from it on the april fools day.

3. In lobby and in game before the countdown finished there could be a display saying 'If you step off the pedastool you will be blown to smitherenes!'
To help out the new ones.

4. Everything we add will get complaints. Deal with it.

Guys, Chad brings good points.

The reasons I do NOT want it to be implemented.

• First of all, some unsuspecting new members would not be welcomed well.
• Second, a lot of lag might occur with this implemented.
• Third, it would be more like 18 tributes rather then 24--which does not actually sound like the books nor the movies.
• I'm a fan of sprinting when the clock starts ticking down--and it will be quite annoying when I can't do this anymore.
• Additionally, this just adds another reason for those to get Better Sprint Mod.

Many jokes are funny on April Fools--but they aren't once it ends.

It doesn't really change the game, all it does is make someone explode up sky high, but who would want to die because he walked of his poduim i mean it would just become annoying after a while.

Imma throw my opinion in here.

1. This won't cause lag, it's a single burst of tnt. If your computer, or the servers, can't handle that than they're weak from the start.

I don't think a single burst of tnt would be enough to launch someone as high as this would. Maybe 4-5, and think about this happening to several people at once.

Nonononono! This is a terrible idea. At first I thought it was a permanent feature on April 1st and almost quit. Then, as someone said above, people will have a reason to get Better Sprint Mod which makes me even more furious. I recently (Sunday) was falsely accused of Better Sprint Mod and are banned for a week. Which after this more people will be FALSELY ACCUSED OF HACKING BECAUSE OF ONE STUPID FEATURE TO BRING PEOPLE TO THE WORLD OF HACKING. NO. JUST NO. QUIT. DON'T REPLY. THIS WILL NOT BRING GOOD THINGS! Sorry for my anger. I hate paying for something to be banned for a week for not doing anything wrong.

Correct, and it would also cause lag and I really don't like this feature one bit, so no, just no. Also, this feature might just convince people to move to The Hive, hmph... (I personally won't move to The Hive if it does get accepted)

I agree with G33ke make It so that you can move off during the last 5 seconds before the game starts.
