I disagree if there were less maps the same maps would be played over and over again and there'd be maps that are never played.

I'm pretty sure adding so many new maps was the point. That way we don't have to play SG4 and Breeze EVERY freaking time.

There should be a map cap, so that there would be no more maps than, let's say...20.
So once the servers reach 20, they will begin to scrap the old maps that are the most underplayed and replace them with newer and fresher maps.
I think this could possibly work, because if we go over that amount the same few maps will get played over and over and some will never EVER get played.

But then those underplayed old maps will be removed. I think they should be on a sort of rotation, like I think RC suggested.

And why would removing old underplayed maps be a problem?
Well, just because they are underplayed doesn't mean nobody likes them. They could be underplayed because they always get barely outvoted by other maps. And there are always people that like a map, and those people won't be happy if their favourite maps are removed. They were already unhappy enough that they rarely got to play them, but now the chances are 0% of playing it.

Well if they're underplayed, it means that not many people like them. It makes sense to say, for example, that SG4 and Breeze Island get played a lot because a lot of people like them, and Lost Ridge barely gets played, because though it's a good map, not many people like it.
In conclusion, majority rules.

Yes, but that doesn't mean that nobody likes those maps. I think it just makes no sense to completely remove them if you can just put them on a rotation so that they will still get played, but they will only be available every week or 2.
