Pub is IP banned?

So basically, my dad picked me up from college and asked if I wanted to go down to the local pub for lunch (they do great burgers) and while I was there I decided to check my alerts using the wifi there and it said I had been IP banned!
Did I do something wrong?

All I know is that IP banned is when they ban your computer Ip so you can't log on with alt accounts ingame. but no one knows how to do it.

The thing that was wierd was the fact that it was a forum ban. I didn't even think that was possible?

Same with the the telstra lte plan ip. Although that's more expectable as there could be tons of people using the same thing, but a pub?

Maybe someone was in that pub and did bad thing and got the ip of the pub banned

Yeah... The only thing I can think of is if the family who own the pub used their wifi to get themselves banned XD

IP Banned = Anyone using that IP can no longer visit forum/web location/server/anything to do with the web.

Someone must have done something offensive towards the MCSG forums and thus got an IP ban.
