Emerald sword?

I heard by someone that there will be an Emerald sword in Minecraft vanilla,
possibly coming in the 1.6 update.

Is this true or am I crazy?
If it's coming, it would be awesome to have it in MCSG!

But they might not be powerful But I would presume that they would be extremely powerful as Emeral is pretty rare in singleplayer

There should also be Emerald tools, so we can make that sexy Emerald Shovel on Survival Kingdom
