Im tired of people being jerks just because they applied for mod

In the past 24 hours Ive seen at least two people use when i become mod as a threat and an excuse to be a (sorry for the language) jackass. On the tekkit server pennepie said "when i become mod and someone tpa's to me and doesn't give me a jatpack I'll ban them." and more recently on the forums someone was complaining about how the template for the report abuse section was too much work and how there would be no "poop" when they were mod. Im sure that a couple people a lot more people act like this. I suggest that once a mod application has been sent in they should be put on a "probation" period just to make sure they wont be jerks when/if they become mod.

Probation period- a period in time after someone applies for mod when they need to show that they will follow all the rules and be suitable for the mod position

If they say stuff like that they probably won't become Moderator. Their application is probably riddled with stuff that the application reviewers wouldn't want.

Plus, if they do things like that they'd become permanently banned. :\
Just tell them that.

Well, personally, if somebody was acting nicer or being more helpful then they usually would be, it wouldn't leave a good impression on me. I would rather that they just be themselves, instead of trying to be somebody they're not to get better odds.

And reporting people isn't difficult at all, and extremely simple to remember. Why would anybody complain about that?

The Report Abuse system is just fine, if you do it a couple of times you know it out of your head.
The people that say, ''When I'm a mod and someone TPAs to me and they don't give me a jetpack I'll ban them.''
Take a screenshot of that and send it to an actual moderator, they'll forward this to a Senior Moderator and when they review that person's application, they will keep this in mind.

Well, you need to remember that it's hard to take emotions and tones from text a lot of the time. Whoever that was could have just been saying that as a joke, and have no interest in being a moderator.
