HACKERS!

This might turn into sort of a rant...

Ok, lately within the past few days I have had a countless number of run-ins with hackers (speed hackers, auto looters, Aim bots, Reach hacks, and those people who know everyone's location) and I am SICK of it.
Speed hackers are my biggest concern. they are capable of acquiring the best goodies in the cornucopia before anybody else is able to get there, making them a threat early in the game. But what really makes me angry is how many times i have died while doing really good because of some hacker.

The point of this is that hackers are becoming a large problem on Survival Games Servers and things CAN be done about it. that brings me to a question, WHY DON'T THEY PUT BETTER ANTI-CHEAT PLUGINS IN THE SURVIVAL GAMES SERVERS. I know that it is possible to stop this, because I have been in many servers that have plugins and what not that are capable of stopping all of this hacking.

I'm not a server owner or anything, but it cant be that hard to stop hackers, so why don't they?

I agree. However, I don't think there are any plugins that potentially remove all hackers

Agreed. I just recently played with someone that had ridiculous speed hacks, they got to the center at the start within a matter of 2 seconds and auto-looted everything. I think this is because the anti cheating plugin was switched from NoCheat to Anti-Cheat. NoCheat lets people sprint on water, Anti-Cheat lets people use speed hacks that work. Someone needs to combine them

yeah I have died a few times when I was in like the final 5, somone who apparently hacked and always won killed me, someone with a reach hack killed me once, and it's always so annoying.

I voted "no", because if i see a hacker, i watch over them and make sure they're banned.

If you spot hackers, please:
A. Poke on of the available moderators on teamspeak. (ip: ts.mcsg.in) Make sure to give them the hackers name and what server you're on.
B. Record video evidence and report them in the "Report Abuse"-section here on the site.

I agree with Krasso hackers dont bother me because 90% of the time i am streaming and it takes 20 secs to poke and admin and get that person banned, also one of the main prorities of the devs at the moment is dealing with hacker and the like. Think this is in beta therefore it will be fixed and it wont matter.

Whenever they start the games and you look at the players feet at least half of the people are using speed hack. This means they probably have a whole client making it impossible to beat them whatsoever.

Yes i do this, but that is not the point, even if i do report them and they get banned a day later or something, they still screw me over while they are in the the game. We need to stop it before it becomes a bigger problem than it has to be.

btw: it is not my job to watch hackers, i actually want to PLAY the game, not be a watchdog

Indeed, thats why I'm lucky I live in the Netherlands beside legal weed.

Lots of times me and my friends have been doing good and we will be set to win, as in having the best stuff possible and in which case one of us nearly always wins, but in a lot of cases there will be one hacker who will have something like aimbot, kill aura or double damage attacks. Earlier on me and my friend both had full iron and diamond swords, then some guy with leather armour and a diamond sword killed the both of us in 4 hits each, and I think it takes more than 4 hits with a diamond sword to take out somebody in full iron... But it is an annoyance, and the fact they only get banned for a week to begin with annoys me greatly seeing how much time they waste and all. So I try report hackers when I can and have gotten a few banned so far. It's somewhat satisfying to get the hackers who killed you then gloated about it banned.
