It is, Mojang nerfed the player rendering in 1.5.I believe this is a Minecraft issue not an MCSG issue correct me if I'm wrong.
You know how when you'd put your rendering down to tiny with no fog and you'd be able to see people like across half the map? Well, Mojang nerfed it in the 1.5 update so now people can only see other players in an around 40 block circumference, so it is quite hard trying to find others.I'm confused. Someone explain.
It's been going for much longer than just the Achievement Update...This is DEFINETELY not Mojang. I'm posting it on MCSG because sub nerfed it. 1.5 has been out for a while now never had this render distance problem ever and I do have optifine. It was amazing till the last achievement update, MEANING it is MCSG not Mojang. Sub or one of the other developer's nerfed it.
Actually, I'm pretty sure he can lower the distance at which the server lets you see players. I saw something similar on a different server a while ago.Sub can't nerf your render distance. The render distance is part of your .jar file. He can't edit that without having you download a new jar file. The new render distance has nothing to do with MCSG
Is that the case? Then what is this in the Bukkit server.properties file?Sub can't nerf your render distance. The render distance is part of your .jar file. He can't edit that without having you download a new jar file. The new render distance has nothing to do with MCSG
