Can Resolve Host Name

Ok, so today I was playing MCSG (like everyday) and my brother came on Skype and wanted to play with me.

When we tried joining the a MCSG when 1 person is in it didn't work, it said Can't Resolve Host Name, is it because we are on the same internet, it gets annoying because I can't connect to any of your servers if hes play or vice-versa.

Do you know a fix? I would love to play with him.

If it can resolve the host name then there shouldn't be a problem
