It's a heck of a lot cheaper to build ur own. Pre built isn't going to be the best 99% of the time. Any Pre built computer worth buying for graphic intense games will be expensive and you could build your own sometimes better computer for way less anyways. If you talk to any serious YouTube or streamer of graphic intense games most of the time they'll have built there own. Plus he wants to build his own and is on a budget of about $1000 and for what e wants to do, he most likely wont be able to buy one that does what he wants for that price
I can go over, but I want to build it so it can be cheaper. 1000 is a preferred price.

right one of the most expensive things your going to buy is the graphics card and the rest is mostly preference.

you shouldn't need more then 8 gigs of ram. That should be plenty but you can go 16gigs of ram if you want. Ram basically effects the over all speed and performance of your computer. Ram isn't too expensive so you have flexibility on mow much you get

Are you going to want more then one monitor? There is really no REAL reason for gamers to have more then one except for convenience or playing games using all the monitors which is cool but ridicules. If your going to swing the money, I suggest maybe 2 monitors. One for your primary game and the other for the extra stuff. If your going to be recording then you can start the recording of the first monitor on the second so it can't be seen in the recording if you know what I mean. Otherwise it can all be done using one monitor.

Also, you don't need to buy EVERYTHING at once. You can get the key components plus a monitor and then when you get more money later, you can buy the second monitor or the second HD or whatever

My specs: (Highly recommended :)

Case: NZXT Phantom special edition black/orange big tower(now the case is of course your choice)
Power supply: Silver power SP-S750 750w PSU
Motherboard: ASUS P9X79 LE, Socket-2011
Processor: Intel Core i7-3820
Ram: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz 16GB x4
CPU cooler: Corsair H60 Hydro serier, water cooler (Could be improved, depends on how big you want your case
Graphic card (now this is beast IMO:) EVGA Geforce GTX 680 2GB PhyX Cuda. (Titan is overrated and overpriced)
SSD: Crucial M4 2.5" 128GB
Harddrive: Seagate Barracuda 2TB

Other specs:
Keyboard: Razer Lycosa gaming keyboard
Mouse: Razer Mamba
Headset: Logitech G35 7.1 surround sound
Monitors: BENQ 23,6" LED XL2420T x2
But this is not a cheap set up just to let you know
It costs about 3000$
And I run mostly everything smooth on full graphics:) And minecraft gives me FPS from 100-1000 (1000 on TWSG2)

Edit: I didnt see you didnt want to go higher than 1000$ :D) Still, buy it!!!:D

Everyone has or is getting these amazing gaming setups, and I'm just sitting with my wireless Logitech mouse, and a 2006 or something like that iMac.

I believe he's in Europe or at least those are the servers he plays on plus your Internet connection doesn't have that big of an effect on your fps or really any for that matter.

Nick, there is absolutely no need to record videos at 200fps xD Unless you want to get a file that is 20GB big and will take years to upload, unless you smallen the file with a video converter. Also, I do not reccomend spending thousands and thousands of dollars on a extremely good gaming computer just to play Minecraft on, Minecraft does not need a very good graphics card to run on high fps. I have an AMD Cataclyst graphics card that is 4 years old and can run Minecraft on 200+ fps on highest settings. But then again, I do play alot of other games other than Minecraft. Though, if you are willing to spend thousands of dollars on an extremely good gaming computer, I am not stopping you, I just reccomend you don't if you are only going to be playing Minecraft on it.

Thanks :)

I believe his post said he wanted to play and record other games too. Plus maybe he wants to run the shaders mod and record at max settings lol
