1. DOUBLE POSTING
Double posting is when you post two posts in a row on the same thread.
Double posting is very annoying and you will usually get bashed by HalfSquirrel if you don't have a good reason for it. There is an edit button on your posts if you wish to add something. If you want to quote more people, you
1. Quote the first post and type your answer, but don't press the Post button.
2. Quote the next post and then reply or not. Keep doing this until you finish quoting everything AND THEN press the post button.
2. START FLAME WARS
Flame wars are when you start a stupid fight about stupid things.
You could say' "This clan is full of hackers the muthaf***ers" (excuse my language). A mod comes and says "Please refrain from accusations and offensive language." then you rage about them and other players back the moderator up but to be honest the war is pointless and can't exactly be won. Don't say offensive things, if you believe an idea is bad, say your opinions in a constructive way. Rather than "This idea sucks it'll never be implemented dumb idiot", you say "This idea will most likely not be implemented because of (insert reasons here)".
3. DISRESPECT STAFF/PLAYERS
Disrespecting staff/players is when you be rude about staff's decisions or call them offensive names/say offensive things to them.
For example: "wtf my mod app was good you dumb idiot sr.staff" is really disrespectful. The staff want GOOD staff to keep our community thriving and perhaps yours just didn't live up to their expectations. You just have to respect that. They're doing their job. You would never rage to a employer and call them a dumb idiot in real life would you? Same goes to players, you would never say to someone's face 'ARGH you dumb idiot of a player dont effing kill me you dummy blurhg" if someone beat you in say, Chess.
4. NECRO POSTING
Necro posting is when you post on a thread that hasn't been posted on for 15+ days to bump it or anything else.
So, if there was a pointless thread about donors that was made in 2012 and hasn't been posted on since November last year you wouldn't bump it. You JUST don't post on it AFTER 15 days.
5. GRAMMAR/SPELLING
If you want to have some respect on the forums, do your best to get your grammar/spelling right.
Please, pls dood i luv teh serves can i find out were i can aply for mod, won't get the respect/attention that, Hello, I'm new here. Could you please tell me where I can apply for moderator? Thanks. Please try and keep your grammar up for posting. If you're non english speaking, do your best and don't forget to say that you're not from an english speaking country.
6. BE MEAN
Just don't be mean, alright? Use CONSTRUCTIVE criticism.
7. SPAMMING
Spamming is saying the same thing over and over EVERYWHERE. Either in one place or lots of places. JUST DON'T DO IT.
8. TROLLING
Try to refrain from it.
It's alright if it's in a jokey atmosphere such as a random off topic discussion like this one:
http://www.minecraftsurvivalgames.com/threads/lulu-rambling-on.36365/ but if it's on a real thread like 'No No Suggestions' or something serious or a member's profile DON'T DO IT.

Just do your best to follow the MCSG and forum rules, have the common sense to search before posting pointless things (PLS GET RID OF THE DUMB DONORS!) then post a civilised thread if you cannot find it.

- Quoting super long posts. Try to just delete the WRITING you don't want that isn't necessary to your reply (don't delete the [quote user3849 etc) so people don't have to scroll and read it.
- Useless Posts. No one cares that you won your first game or bought your first apple product today. Also, don't just say 'I agree' or 'This sucks'. We want criticism. This is a FORUM.
