Buying Account Upgrade with a Gift Card?

I tried buying an account upgrade today with my Walmart Gift Card
I didn't sign up for paypal I just used the other option
Anyway when i tried using that it says

"The card you entered cannot be used for this payment. Please enter a different credit or debit card number"

I tried using my other gift cards like my Vanilla Visa but I get the same error!
Anyone know what to do?
Also both of them have been activated online

I don't think you can use a gift card to buy donor. You have to use an actual credit card or a paypal account to upgrade.

There is no way other than paypal or credit card.

We don't have Walmarts in Norway so I didn't know if they had Card numbers or not In norway they sell something called Spendon. It's a Visa for people under 18. I can charge it with any amout of money then spend it on the internet or in stores
