MCSG had this Arena WAAAAY before Hive -.-
Hive didnt even exist there (sorry for being a bit mean ^^ )
I can send you an Screenshot of the old Arena...
But It lagged pretty much there so it got removed.

Yes you could see the Spectators
This had 1 advantage: Specs couldnt block arrows.
(I hope you know that sometime ago arrows could block the arrows so they did no damage)
And it was a nice feeling seeing whos looking at you.
