Can't resolve hostname...banned?

Hey guys,

I've used the search option but I couldn't find a thread that already answered my question. If there is one, I am deeply sorry to have opened a new one and would like the mods to delete this one..

I'm fairly new to MCSG, I started about a month ago.. Probably one to two weeks later, I upgraded to an Iron Donor account. Ever since I've been able to play without any issues up until now. No matter what I do, refresh server/ delete servers and add them again/ direct connect... it just won't connect.

I keep getting the status error message: "Can't resolve to hostname". The server IP names are typed in correctly and haven't been altered ever since I added them sometime in March.

Can anyone please help me resolve this issue? Is it because I have been banned (if so, I'd like to know why because I don't recall insulting someone, using caps lock or hack, which I don't even know how to do to be honest) or are the servers temporarily down?? Though the servers tab in the Forum claims otherwise.

I don't think you're banned. I haven't experienced this but maybe it's something with your internet? Every time my internet crashes it says "Can't resolve host name" on every server I have on my server list. Try to restart your internet even though I have no idea if it will work

Unfortunately it didn't work

My connection has always been good (up to 100m/bits) and is working since I can do other stuff on the internet, it's just minecraft that's refusing to work :/
