How will points work?

I know that the points system is very glitchy right now but I was just wondering how are points suppose to work and how will they work when you're out of beta?
Right now i'm not gaining any points when I die even if I've killed people, is it suppose to be like that? Do we only gain points when we win or what?

As far is i know, you wil get points for killing, and if you win, and you will lose points when you die...
