Advanced HUD mod! Allowable or not?

So I was roaming YouTube as I often do and I came across a mod spotlight for a mod called advanced HUD. All it does is let you reposition anything on your HUD to where ever you want. Say you want your health bar on the top insured of at the bottom? You could do that if you wanted. Or make your items bar vertical and off to the side.

you can change the position of anything on your HUD to where ever you like it. Now I haven't tried this mod cause I just found out about it and I kind of like the set up now but I could imagen others would like it. From what I could tell it didnt have any game inhancing abilities to give people an edge over others. Not like better sprinting or force field or others of the like. Because it doesn't seem to affect gameplay, is this mod acceptable In MCSG? I have a feeling that some people might like a different layout for the HUD instead of the original?

it seems to be in the same category as optifine where it only benefits you and doesn't give you an edge over others besides maybe being able to see more of the screen then the normal HUD would allow (which isn't much anyways).

What are your thoughts on this mod. would you use it if you could? do you think its considered hacking, why or why not? is this or should this be acceptable in MCSG?

it would be interesting to have a moderators input on the subject?

I'm pretty sure it's allowed, it just makes minecraft nicer.

That's what I'd think and even if so many people might not know about the mod. But I would also like to make sure it's legal before downloading it and trying it. I don't see a way they'd be able to detect it anyways

I dont see any reason why it shouldn't be aloud, so it seems fine to me

You see that's what I originally thought about better sprinting too but as it turns out there were game enhancing properties in that mod that I didn't even think about

As this only changes your client side GUI and not your relationship to the servers or other players, I'm of the opinion that this should be perfectly fine.

Ill do a little testing to see if it actually changes gameplay or not. I don't think it will but ill check and report my findings

If it only changes the look of your game, then you're totally fine, unless staff thinks not, but whatevz.

Considering this seems to be an acceptable mod y don't we make it an accepted mod like optifine is. Just a thought

Zeno said it was fine so I believe it's ok to use but still I wouldn't mind more clarification on this mod
