So, this is my first post and its probably nooby, but I'm gonna do it anyway.
Well, I'm gonna talk about how to pick a good chest route and what to do with it. I had about 1300 points before the reset and have 600 points currently, so I consider myself in a position to talk about it.
If there is a brand new map that you've never seen before what do you do? You probably go for the cornucopia and wish for the best in the wild. Once you die, maybe spend 5 minutes just watching people and see some of those sneaky chests that someone is bound to find. If you want to win a SG, don't rage and immediately join another server the moment you die, what do you learn?
I group chest routes into three categories; condensed, common, and big (I obviously can't pick good names). A condensed route would be like the Pirate Cave in SG1 and the Large Ship in Breeze Island. These routes are probably going to be attempted by at least 2 or 3 people at once. They have tons of chests in a small area. If you see someone there before you, you may want to still go in and get a weapon and kill them while they loot the other chests. If there is a guy waiting there with a weapon, run (or swim) like hell. The pros of this kind of route is that there is alot of loot and it is usually good. The cons are that tons of people go for it and its not likely you will live if your there late.
A common route would be the Small Boat in Breeze Island and the Airport in SG4. These don't have as many chests or as good of loot as the condensed routes but not as many people go there immediately. If you can get to these routes and wait there for other people then you can get alot of kills off, but if a tank comes from a condensed route then you are dead, unless you have a team. The pros of this kind of route is that not as many people go there immediately and there are a good amount of chests. The cons are that the loot is not always good and you many get attacked by a tank.
A big route would be going into the woods in SG4 or the Towns in Teweran SG2. They have many chests and some are tier 2, but most are tier 1. In these kinds of routes it is not likely you will get all of the chests because other people will go for them too. There are also many hidden chests and it will take a while to remember them all. If you have a weapon of any kind it is a good idea to try and sneak up on people and kill them while they are getting a chest. The pros are that it is easy to get a kill and there are not many people going for the chests. The cons are that you can get sneaked up on and not all the chests are good.
I hope you enjoy this and I would appreciate no hate etc. etc. I'm gonna update this pretty soon so see you later guys.
