Works pretty well if you use it right, but if you use it wrong, you can get yourself trapped and killed or you might get extra hits, on the other side if you do it right you can use it as an advantage or a way to regain health. Even tho this doesn't have much to do with 1v1 straight on pvp its a good strategy in MCSG.
