Lucid Dreaming

I remember having a lucid dream within a dream once (which also turned out to be a dream within another lucid dream).

This post gave me a minor headache just from reading it. On a more serious note related to the topic, I used to have dreams where I knew I was able to fly, so I started a game of tag with some friends. I would always fly away right before they could tag me. And yes, I know what you are thinking-"what a weird thing to dream about". Have not had those dreams since I was about nine or ten years old.

One night, I woke up. It was midnight. For some reason, I couldn't sleep. I picked up my phone and played some Angry Birds. But suddenly, I heard a wierd noise. A noise you hear when you open up your window. Someone was opening my window! I was like paralyzed. I couldn't manage to move. I was so scared. But then the window closes, and I am really scared for the rest of the night. I don't know if this was a dream or not.

On the Original Topic, I had one lucid dream a year back. It was probably the best thing I've done in my whole life, only problem, is that it felt like it lasted a week. I'm not even kidding, it felt like it lasted 7 days in real life. When I woke up, I didn't even realize it went on for so long. An 8 hour sleep felt like a week, it was a weird illusion. o_0

I've had them from time to time, but I usually force myself to wake up to prevent myself from getting Sleep Paralysis. That, is some weird stuff. I heard you freeze in your sleep, and see things you're not supposed to see. If that happened to me, I would have to sign in to a mental hospital.

Yeah, I conquered the world atop a flying pink elephant while laser Scooby-Doo rampaged below me in the city. And then explicit stuffs.

My only incident of sleep paralysis, I saw the most horrible creature I could imagine looking down at me. It was the kind of horrible you can't even comprehend unless you're sleeping, and I could have sworn I was going to die. It haunts me to this day.

I can't help ya with much, but I'll give you a plain and simple tip.

When you do realize you're in a lucid dream, DO NOT get excited. This will cause you to wake up and ruin everything. Stay calm, and don't flip out.
