Custom Survival Games (Need Help)

Hey guys, I want to make this quick and simple; I am looking into making a custom survival games map (not specifically for MCSG) but I need a glass dome. I relize MCEdit and WorldEdit (specifically SPC) have abilities to create a glass dome, but my computer is way to slow to download those (also it's a very complicated process in my eyes). Could anybody give me some advice about my problem. On a side note, would anybody be interested in helping me make the survival games map itself?
