Running Up Stairs?

So recently, I noticed that I've been able to run up stairs and equip armor by right clicking them. I don't think it was a part of the update from 1.5, and the only mod I have installed is Optifine. (that I'm aware of.)

Is this happening to anyone else? Does anyone know why? I don't want to be called out for hacking (at least intentionally). This has also been happening in Singleplayer.

I checked the updates, it's not in there (unless I'm not looking hard enough)

Just tested it, and I'm getting the same thing too. It might be a glitch with optifine, but it must be recognized before innocent people get banned.

Test it both on single player minecraft with no optifine or mods. It's 1.5. Question answered; Thread locked.
