1.5 update lag/disconnect

Hi my name is pr0xyZ, and I have been playing MCSG for a while now. I love playing Survival games on these servers, but ever since I updated 1.5 I have been lagging really hard and I would disconnect all the time. Every game I would disconnect and lose a bunch of points. I am mad because I just got another donor and I cant even play a full game without lagging really hard or disconnecting 1/4 through the game. Because of that I have lost many points, partially because of lag, and mostly because of disconnecting every game. If it is possible to fix this, please fix it fast. I enjoy playing on these servers, but now I cant even play 1/4 through a single game. Please fix this.Thanks !

It's a glitch that came with 1.5, not a plugin glitch (I think). It can't be fixed by the devs working on the plugin, it's either Mojang or Bukkit that has to fix it.

Then I hope they fix it fast, because I wanna play without disconnecting. I also lost around 500 points by disconnecting because of that

i rarely even play on other servers. i ussually just play on infected, mcsg, and search and destroy. but i havent played on those servers in a while. i mostly play on mcsg so idk of it happenes on other servers. :/

doesnt really lag or disconnect that often. and now its getting really bad for mscsg. when i run for spawn i lag and disconnect. my computer and wifi is perfectly fine too.

That's 1.5 lag, hopefully it will be fixed soon. The Minecraft 1.5 update and MCSG don't go very well together as of yet.

Problems with 1.5 - Texture packs are laggy , smooth lighting is laggy, crafting is glitchy, lag issues.

We are all getting a lot of flag but its the new mine craft update.

This is common for such huge Minecraft updates. Back in 1.3 this happened, but after a little while it blew over. In 1.4 there was also insane lag, blew over. 1.5 shouldn't be any different, we just need to wait it out.
