Well, you can't expect for people to play 24/7 like they do on mcsg. But every once in a while everybody will come around and train. So if there are more people allowed to come, then there will be a higher chance of having 10+ players online during the whole day.

This is why I am not going to be starting off with a super powerful server.

I would probably play on here more often than MCSG to be honest. MCSG is too laggy for me to actually play, so I think my time will be spent alternating between this server and LoL.

And would you have to be a top MCSG player to be allowed access? I am not high-ranked anymore but I would say I am pretty good at PVP.

Hey MCSG, just making a quick post regarding a simple idea I have come up with.

UPDATE: So the cost for the server is going to be around $15/Month
So, I call upon the community for help seeing as this will be a server for the MCSG community. PM me for info on how you can transfer the money. This can't happen without the money!

Update 2: Making progress. Players will be able to join a 1v1 arena with the click of a button
Also, there might be some sort of ranking system.

Update 3: Currently working on the different arenas. Currently, we are looking at 4 different arenas so you don't have to fight on the same thing over and over again. Also, when you join a 1v1, all fights will be fair. Everyone will start with the following: Full iron armor, iron sword, bow, 12 arrows, golden apple, stack of cooked porkchops, and, per request of G33ke, a fishing rod.

So lately I have been doing some 1v1 fights against G33ke on my crappy hamachi server.
I was thinking about renting a small server from a company to host fights. Here is the thing: The server would be open to other high ranked/good PvP'ers as well. i.e. Blamph, Egrodo, G33ke, Nate252, ChadTheDJ...

Perhaps I could get my hands on some sort of automated plugin that would allow to players to easily set up/join a 1v1 fight. We could even do weekly/monthly tournaments and such. Also, this would be a fairly good answer to those threads titled "Best MCSG Player".

Bear in mind, the server would cost money to rent and as of now, I don't have money that I can allot to this so monetary help would be appreciated [and discussed in private].

Anyhow, this wouldn't necessarily be a private server, but I know for sure that not just "anyone" will be able to join. I might make it so only the top 100 or 500 [Or some appropriate number] would have access to the server. There would be multiple hand built "arenas". Fights would have equal gear and would consist along the lines of iron armor, iron sword, bow, arrows, food, and a fishing rod. So, in the event I get positive feedback from you guys regarding this, I will surely look into getting something like this set up for us so the top players can fight the other top players. Besides money, the main issue for me right now is finding out the right amount of slots the server should be able to support. There could be a ton of you guys playing regularly, or a small amount of people. Perhaps I can start off with a smaller server, and upgrade if needed.

For those of you asking about AU players- That can be thought about in the future. For now, I would like to see at least the North American players support this first. Then, if all goes well supportively and financially, an AU server can be looked into.
