Unable to connect to the servers :C

I have recently tried to connect and minecraft is saying "failed to connect, unknown host name". this is the only info i have so far on the problem. i have tried to reinstall and that hasnt helped. Any help would be appreciated. PM me if needed.

Did you do anything with the minecraft folder or is your account a cracked one?

Unkown host either means your DNS is messed up or your typing the ip wrong. if your dns is messed up there should be something on the forums about that. It is how to solve unkown host error
