How do I join a survival game in minecraft?

Do you mean a Survival games as in these servers or an actual survival world where you need to build a house and gather resources? If your talking about the Survival Games servers, here's how:
1- Launch minecraft, click multiplayer, and click direct connect. Why direct connect? It's a lot faster, and believe me, these servers fill up fast.
2- Go to the website, click the "Servers" tab, and chose which section of servers you'd like to play on. (US, EU, CA, or AU. Read this thread to find out which suits you best: http://www.minecraftsurvivalgames.com/threads/which-server-suits-you-the-best.10146/#post-271157
3-Enter the ip you find that is in lobby. (Should look something like this: us3.mcsg.in, but the first part will vary depending on whether you chose EU, US, CA, or AU, as well as which server number it is.)
4- Click "Join Server" and enjoy!
