I have seen this problem solved before by having a rule instated in the server where you can't just join a server and betray it immediately and you actually have to be a part of it. It somewhat worked by discouraging players to do that and whenever a mod or admin was on it could be solved. But it would be very hard to enforce. So yeah you just have to deal with it.

Thats why I was super apposed to the server being factions. I don't get what's so enjoyable about them. You build, you kill and then your stuff gets blown up. I always thought minecraft was about community, the best servers I've ever played on are no PvP, vanilla survival. You make natural friends, you build together, you laugh together. These faction servers get so popular and it puts actually good servers out of buisiness.

-_- I feel like it accomplishes absolutely nothing. I find it much more satisfying to make a nice build in survival mode, which is impossible without it getting griefed to hell.

Ya, ik what your talking about I read ur post as u thought killing people on any server didn't accomplish anything - that's why I was like 'then why do u play minecraft survival games. No offense guys, but if its a pvp server, your gonna get killed/griefed. if its not then...ya...you shouldn't be able to kill.

It's the internet. You can't trust anyone. Just work solo and toughin' up your skills. Don't count on friends to take you to deathmatch
