I'm really new to Minecraft and this all together.

I saw a famous youtube user playing this (He is currently on the amazing race on cbs) Joey Grafecca.
His videos of it are hilarious and to be honest, I love the hunger games.

I tried out the demo of Minecraft and it seemed to be going really slow. I am using a laptop?

How do I get to play these hunger games on the demo? Is it possible? Please lead me in the right direction! Thank you so much.

You don't get to play on the demo. You have to actually buy Minecraft.

Glad your interested in the Survival Games! Unfortunately, multiplayer is not available in the demo version, and if you'd like to play, you'll need too purchase an account. Once you've bought an account and are able to actually join, feel free to ask me or anyone else questions you might have

Hi all! I have it now but when I add in the servers from this site to the game, it shows the status of each but when I try to join it, it says Internal exception: Java.net.Socket.Exception: Connection reset.

What minecraft version does these servers run on?

They currently run on 1.4.7. Ensure that you have the latest version. If that doesn't work, double check that the ip was put in correctly. This could also be a server resetting, as every server does after a game. You can check server status(es) here: http://www.minecraftsurvivalgames.com/servers

Well, if you recently downloaded it from the site it should be updated but if not, try these things:

1- Go to the login screen. Enter your username and password, then login in. If it asks to update say yes. If it doesn't, try this:

2- Go to the login screen and find the options button. (Should be located on top of the login button) choose the "force update option" and then login. It should update to 1.4.7

If even that doesn't work, I'm not sure what's wrong. You'll have to give me some more info about your launcher if that's the case. It should work though

You might need to download Java. I used to have the same problem. Might work but the way servers work might have changed since Alpha minecraft

I'm really not sure what is wrong. The latest java should be under a software update with your computer but if not try here: http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp. If after downloading that you end up with the same error try different servers. What I mean by that is instead of Eu, try Us and so on. If you can't get anything else to work, reply. I'll keep an eye out for solutions

Ok i've pretty much had it, I bought minecraft to play HUNGER GAMES specifically and I cnanot get on to any of you peoples servers. How about the staff do their job and help me instead of members doing the mods and admins job?

Why is it that I can see the stats of each server when putting the server into my minecraft but when I click join the java.net exception thingy comes up? Please do something to fix this, update your servers or whatever but I basically just wasted valuable money to buy minecraft and I cannot play hunger games which is why I bought dang minecraft from the beginning.

I'm not really happy at all and I would appreciate help.
