Explain your username!

Hey everyone,

I've noticed people saying a lot "what does fushi mean" or "where does your username come from." If you want to know, it's a pretty short story: when I was around 9 or so, me and my neighbor played this weird online game. If you click "randomize" it gives you a cool-sounding username for this game. So, it gave me the name "Fushina." But in-game, everyone got tired of writing Fushina, and it became Fushi. And we all know that Fushi rhymes with sushi, so...yeah. But what I want to know is where your usernames come from! Post a comment explaining it!

Well, im swedish. My swedish name is Torbjörn which basicly means "Dry" "Bear". Also, since i was 11 when i got minecraft i came up with the Nooby idea to wright out the year i was born after my name :/.

A little while ago, in 2010, me and some friends decided we should all change our xbox live gamertags, one had an idea of changing their's to SrgtButteredToast. He eventualy changed his mind and went with "Sir Hoglosh The 3rd" and I didn't know what to chose because all the good gamertags were taken, so I came up with CaptButterToast out of his original plan .

People considered me rather Random, so I decided to name my account randomman98, that account lasted for about beta 1.2 to late beta 1.8, just before minecon. I'd lost the account somehow, I still assume it was hacked. But anyway, at that point I got a new account and wanted to use the same general name, but make it sound more mature and memorable so I did the following -
A. Added "The" in front like my youtube.
B. Used 1000 instead of 98, sounds cooler and is more easily remembered than my birthyear
C. Capitolized every word, which made it easier to distinguish one word from another.

All this created a nicely rememberable and smooth sounding username.
