Hey there everyone. I know I haven't posted in a while but I've had a very busy week doing exams that really take a lot out of me. I should mention now though that they are over and, while not a guarantee, I will try to post a thread every other day, although not all of them will be 'changes for MCSG' (gotcha curious now, don't I?). Anyway, this post will be about re-adding hostile mobs and adressing the main problems with them as well as the solutions. So, lets begin.
If you have ever played on these servers and have experienced mobs, you have either a) been on these servers when we were all eagerly anticipating SG3, or b) have played Terewan Survival Games 2: Drybone Valley before MCSGv2 came out. Its a very touchy subject that the community is split in two over, and I gotta say, I would like mobs to return to the games. Why, you ask?
Well, to me MCSG has never been completely Player versus Player. Its always been Player versus the world. What I mean by that is that while you knew there were x amount of people out there to kill you, the arena was also out for your blood with traps and the environment that surrounded you. You knew once that sun was gone, you could either hide in a tree until all the bad things were gone, or go out there finding chests guns (or, in this case, bows) blazing. It was a risk/reward system that some full budget games don't do as well.
Mobs added character, and made the games all that more challenging. So I keep asking to myself: Why did they remove them? Every time I ask I always get the same response: that they are in the lobby at the start and it give certain players an unfair advantage because a creeper isn't trying to introduce them to the map with a bang. And this can be stopped by one simple step:
The reason mobs are at the cornucopia is that the Survival Games usually start at sunrise. At this stage mobs still spawn and will not get hurt by sunlight. My solution: start the games at midday. No mobs at the spawn, and plenty time to get a sword until the mobs can have their delayed introduction. Personally, I don't see what could go wrong with this.
Well, that's all for today. Be sure to like the post, leave a comment below, vote in the poll (although you probably voted after reading the title, you impatient swines), and read some of my previous polls. See you next post!

P.S. I accidentally typed in the wrong title and I do not know how to change it. Sorry if I mis-lead you!
