I wouldn't mind somewhat long matches, but when they last an hour it gets a little annoying. I often don't have that much time. It would also take longer for servers to restart, and then it would be even harder to get on. Maybe just reduced mob spawn rate so that there is a fair amount.

Actual, I think reduced mob rates will make even longer matches, as people will still be scared to go out, but they will not kill as many players.

As much as I have wished for mobs to be returned in full, they never will. The sad truth is that has been suggested over and over, but it is still turned down. The biggest argument I have heard for it not being added is it becomes to difficult, which is strange for something based on the hunger games. I always thought that if a person was meant to survive the games, survival against hostile mobs would be a key factor. It really is a shame those days are gone...god I miss seeing people get blown up by creepers...

I've been on the fyre games server and mob spawning is just OP. under one branch of a tree there were literally two creepers, 3 zombies and a skeleton. If mobs come back on the MCSG server, the spawn rates of mobs need to be drastically toned down to make it more fair for players.

I honestly never found it to be too much, as I have been playing Minecraft since alpha days, so am conditioned against it.I can see how that could be a problem for those that have not played minecraft as long, even more so as it seems some younger players got minecraft just for sg.

In fyregames server the mod spawn was high there were at least 15-20 mobs in one area of normal view

Mobs are something I want to see because I was never around for those days of MCSG, I'm still basically new. I think the added element of surviving in the wilderness amidst the hostile beasts would really spice up what can sometimes be a very dull, boring survival game.

not all servers should have mobs though only 1 3 5 7 9 11 13 15 17 19 21 23 25 27 29 (48 player servers should be 5 10 15 20 25 30)
