MCSG has lost the "survival and adventure" aspect it had, and that honestly ruined the expierience for me. Yes, lots of PvP could've been fun as well, but due to overpowered chests, ridiculously small maps (with too many chests) being added and bigger maps being removed, and the fact that PvP itself became very unbalanced and unfair after the 1.7 update kinda made that not so fun.

The community's downfall also ruined the MCSG experience for me. Over time, it started to completely rot away, and now the in-game community is completely lifeless it seems. I no longer recognize anyone in games, because everyone has really generic names that are honestly indistinguishable from one another due to all the PvP terms and YouTube references that are in them. The leaderboards literally mean nothing now, but back in the day I probably had the whole first page memorized because of how often I'd check. It just seems like the game is dead and that nothing really matters anymore on this server.

So no, I'm definitely not enjoying MCSG right now. And I'm not too sure if there's anything anyone can do about it anymore. The sad reality is that we're just going to have to deal with it as it is until the game itself is actually gone, unless people unite and really try to make change to the server (which won't happen given the current state of the community).

It's become a lot more competitive than in the past ;-; I remember when it was all for fun and giggles. Now it's all about the ratio and statistics

I'm still enjoying the MCSG days, it has it ups and downs but i think if you really love the server you'll keep playing . I might be enjoying because I'm playing with friends, Who knows <3
