You were one of the first supporters of the round table review and it was awesome having you on the event, too bad it stopped for now. Maybe when I reapply we all restart rtr again!

I noticed this the instant I got mod. Everyone's like "oh hey Gecko!" when I was a complete nobody before. I'll likely go back to a complete nobody again when I resign too. It's just the shiny name that gets people's attention and want to claim that they know a person with influence. Once you don't have that influence, they don't really have a need to be your 'friend' anymore. I wouldn't take it personally at all. It's just a natural thing and most people probably don't even notice that they're doing it.

I agree so much. I was mod before this time (I got demoted for inactivity) everyone seemed like they were my friends but then I get demoted and suddenly they don't want to talk to me. Then I get mod again and guess what! They want to be my best friends again! :/ Through gaining and losing ranks you really learn who your good friends are.
