Hello tributes,
With the recent wave of updates released over the holidays, we announced and released phase one of the MCSG Maker Beta, a new way for you to experience MCSG. This new mode of play allows you to create on-demand, private games for uses ranging from playing with your friends or clan, to playing crazy new types of games using the mutator system, which allows you to customize many aspects of a round.
| Back For Seconds
Today's update brings the second phase of the MCSG Maker Beta, containing a few new mutator features to be found in the custom games of MCSG Maker, as well as fixes for issues that some players were experiencing when requesting a custom game.
| New Mutators
At release, there were already a few mutators to play around with, but today we've just about doubled the former amount- there are now 7 new mutators for tweaking a few more aspects of your custom game. Many of these ideas were suggested by numerous players in the community, so keep bouncing around your ideas- we do pay attention to them!
Note that mutators are only used in custom games, the following features- like those from the first batch- have no impact on the standard MCSG games.
| Bug Fixes
Over the past week, there were some instances where a region would not allow any custom servers to be started; we believe these issues to be resolved, and will be monitoring the network as always to ensure everything is working as intended.
| Phase Three
A commonly requested feature is for a way to save a template for a MCSG Maker game that you have customized. We have had this in mind since the beginning, and if everything goes to plan, a system to handle saving your own custom game presets will be in place next week. With this system, you will be able to share your custom game presets with your friends, and we will also be able to offer more in-depth customization options.
We've had a great response from the community with MCSG Maker, and we will continue looking around for player suggestions and feedback. If you have some neat ideas, why not head over to the MCSG Maker Discussions and Suggestions forums!

- Deathmatch Threshold— The number of players at which the deathmatch starts is now configurable
- Sponsor/Bounty— The sponsor and bounty features can now be disabled, if desired
- Auto Disguise— Like SG Solo, custom games can now auto disguise all players upon starting
- Points Gain/Loss— Gaining/losing points due to kills/deaths can now be disabled; bounties will still work independently, if enabled
- Experience Bounty— When enabled, killing other players in a custom game can now award one experience level per kill
- Chest Tiering— Expanding upon the existing options, all chest tiers can now be randomized per-chest, or inverted from what they normally would be
