Well, I think the New Year is kind of just a little section marker of life, like the sun rising and the moon setting are true natural borders of doing things you want to do in life, but every year? I mean, it's the approximation of how much time it takes to go around the earth and yet the only reason why it would ever matter is growing seasons. That is the only reason, and that can be predicted day to day, in the moment. Why do people never get their New Years Resolutions complete? It's because they always take too long, and they are long sections of time when you aren't thinking fresh, and in the middle of it, you are dogging on waiting for the next year to get your fresh start. Then all your life you are waiting for the next chance, when you don't.

You live in the moment, you get the most out of those moments.
