I feel like the old Anti-Cheat banned hackers more easily, I mean, Almost every time there was a hacker on my game, the Anti-Cheat banned him at the moment... Not they can have Kill Aura lvl 10 and still nothing ;-;

Am I the only one who feels that way?

This anticheat is an improvement over the previous one as this can detect some different types of aura (not all) and autoclicker detection is coming soon.

It needs to detect a whole lot more, I just saw the same player, 3 games in a row, killing everyone. He/she sprinted on water and no it wasn't lag, had 0 kb blah blah blah, the list goes on......

I'm personally against anti cheat on mcsg not because it's a bad idea it's just last time the server was promised an anti cheat a lot of legit players were banned and it caused a uproar and more of the community quit

Boosting detection just won't happen, too many FPs
Ghost Client detection is a bit beyond what is currently being worked on. Ghost Clients have to be detected in specific ways and take tons of coding to be detected.

The reasoning for the Anti-Cheat taking so long to develop is for this exact reason; it'll be effective against those who do cheat, and will (hopefully) not come up with false positives, seeing as we all know what happened last time.

It just takes a while to think through. I don't know EXACTLY how badlion does it but I do know how some (lmao like 3) of the checks work. Of course I am not able to explain them nor will I tell anyone but all I can say is that they're pure genius. I'm not hyping up badlion's development team either, just imagine the feeling of a epiphany, that is what you would feel if I explained them. You really need to know the clients both internally (code) and externally (what the code translates to in game) to even begin to write a check.
