I don't quite remember when, but sometime in August MCSG changed their scoreboard (sidebar) to the right of the screen (not in hubs). Now I don't know how other players feel about this new (somewhat new) scoreboard system but I personally don't like it. It takes up to much space on the screen (It will take even more if you have a long IGN, Likely when your name is "NoHacksJust" it will have a lot of length). Now I'm not saying that the new scoreboard should be removed all together, but there should at least be a command that can change this scoreboard to its previous stage. ( something along the lines of /sidebar remove)

Previous siderbar meaning when the text was White and it didn't show you IGN at the top, and didn't show the 12-hour 24-hour time

you could, but the data that it will give you after running /sidebar minimize isn't very needed.

yeah only mods can find it useful as it's what is enough to identify somebody hacking

IF said reason is so that players can see what time it is whilst playing, identifying hackers, etc I also mentioned that if this were to happen a command would also apper that could allow players to turn the new, overly-large, scoreboard off and on.

Like stated by others you can use /sidebar minimize. The data that is left may not be useful to you, but it is a requirement for the staff. That is why you can't remove that part. Does that answer your question?

It's there for a reason :)
You can do /sidebar minimize to make it much, much smaller.
MCGamer could possibly set a ID number for each player, 5-6 digits, so it would act like a username.
