If this thread continues to get clogged up with flame it will have to be locked. Constructive criticism is one thing, debates are fine too, but when it seeps over to aggression is when we have a problem.

If you care about this thread sticking around, please share helpful suggestions and criticism, but do so politely. We will never bar you from sharing your thoughts if you do so - however, the aggressive bit is against our rules, and subsequently, your post will be removed. Plain and simple.

As a member who has been in this community for over 3 years, it is really painful to watch the servers decline as they have. I myself have shared similar feelings with Atu here, and especially Tenebrous.
- There is absolutely no doubt this server has a declining community, hackers are becoming so abundant there is no where you can hide from them. But hey, nearly every game is bound to have hackers in it, it's inevitable. Like suggested previously by a large number of people, the suggestion of revamping and rejigging the anti-cheat. I don't mean in an extreme way, but at least have it detect auto-clickers set at ridiculously high cps, and maybe add in ban support for Huzuni clients. Anything beyond that to begin with is a bonus.

- The staff. Where do I even begin here? This has no meaning of flaming the current staff on the servers, but whenever I'm on the TeamSpeak, normally I don't need help, but say I do in this situation. Most of the time I'm on, all I can see are moderators sitting in private rooms at the bottom of the TS with names such as "Chillin (DND)" or "Movie Time DND." While I agree moderators aren't slaves, they volunteer to help these servers meaning their time is theirs to use, but when I constantly see this, and especially with a repeating pattern, it begs the question of whether mods should have set standards and rules about this to prevent players from receiving no help by people on the TS, because the only ones they can contact, are in DND rooms, where normally they will say to contact someone else.
Another part to the staff, is with hacker identification. With the huge uprising of ghost clients on these servers, and Minecraft in general, I think that in hacker identification training sessions for moderators, there should be a brief section in which mods learn about certain features of ghost clients such as smooth aimbot, triggerbot etc. A lot of the time, moderators have no way of being able to tell if the player is actually hacking, or getting "ping hits." This is also to do with mods only being allowed to deal with a hacker if the evidence shows 100% clear evidence of hacks being used, which is where ghost clients get away with almost everything. I think that if ghost client or silent/ quiet hacks are being trained to catch by moderators, it could truly help as players who have been getting away with toggling, could potentially be caught out.

- Lastly the toxicity within the community. I'm going to right off the bat directly quote a well known YouTuber, videogamedunkey, often known as Dunkey, who recently announced the retirement from League of Legends content on his channel.
"The route of toxicity is the game, it's just not fun and it pisses people off." He continues to use examples from League to prove this point. A game becomes repetitive to the point in which it becomes boring for most. It is at this point in which a toxic community is born. This toxicity is born as people are trying to create their own "pleasure" out of something in which they possibly do not desire or think is as entertaining as it once was. Let's put this in the context of MCSG. Lets go back a few years... to 2013, the glory days, the days the community thrived and was at its peak. Back then, toxicity was minimal, the forums offered countless discussions which were fun to be apart of. The game itself was entertaining, for most people it was something new, or the server continued to add features which the players were in favour of. Fast forward to the present. This community is in shambles, the forums are filled with flame absolutely EVERYWHERE, and is clear in the AU Clan Community. Nowadays, a large number of people who are playing are those who are old timers and banned alts. These people see the game as being repetitive, but don't want to give up what they have loved for the years they have been here, it is because of this that this toxic community is as bad as it is, because these people see that nothing has changed, and have decided to create their own amusement.
The purpose of this last section as large as it is, is to signify the huge importance of the community. Admins, Devs and the whole staff team need to listen to its community in its relative vocal numbers. If community feedback is gained and is implemented there is still a tiny hope that the toxicity will reduce.

Now, after this huge rant, I show no intention of flame, and this is mostly a subjective collection of thoughts.

So, I'm just now getting caught up on everything, ceroria seems to inb4'd most of the points I would have made. I will say though, any hate thats just hate? Will be deleted. Additionally, for the time being, I will say you guys can directly DM me with direct advice for improvement of the anticheat or anything of the like, but please give direct, citable source examples and I will take care of it personally. Otherwise, from what I can see, most points have been covered...?
Why ppl make threads instead of dming mods is so the COMMUNITY can actually see the problems

At this point I've said everything I want to say regarding this topic. I don't agree with 75% of what is being brought up and it's now gotten to the point where my discussions are literally being laughed at, so I will take that as if I am no longer welcome in this discussion, which is disappointing. I was hoping this thread would be open to the staff being about to discuss possible issues and fixes with certain areas of the network with the community, however if my points are not welcome and being made a mockery of, I will focus my time and energy elsewhere.
On top of that, it seems like the same points are being brought up over and over as a counter argument, and personally I'm a little tired of being compared to Badlion on a daily basis.
I find it a little ironic that a lot of players are accusing us of not being able to take criticism, and shutting down any threads that relate to possible issues. When we leave it open to discussion, my points and discussions are laughed at, and I'm outright insulted by counter-discussions.
Good day to you all.
If anything the mods are the ones who are narrow minded and never agree with the community.. And then they defend it and claim the community is perfect, the anti cheat is perfect and then shuts down threads that states otherwise..
If this thread continues to get clogged up with flame it will have to be locked. Constructive criticism is one thing, debates are fine too, but when it seeps over to aggression is when we have a problem.

What qualifies as flame in your book? In my opinion flame is when one gives there opinion and another person says thats stupid go die ex. I don't think I see any flame on this thread besides long arguments that are backed up by evidence. This whole thread is constructive criticism and the staff team is to blind to see the problems on their server..

That is because the flame has already been removed. As you can see, the discussions that are polite, even if controversial, are still in place. We just ask that everyone be respectful and follow the rules.

So UR saying that someone on this thread was saying "your opinions super stupid just go die"?? Or was it a argument about the statement that went against your belief?
