Internet sites like Facebook,Twiter or our forum are a great way for us to keep in touch with friends, but there are things you should do to stay safe.
On some sites you don´t have to use your real name if you don´t want so invent a name for yourself.
On most sites it´s a rule that you have to give an email adress, but this doesn´t have to be your normal one, you can use and adress.
Unless you know that a friend is sending you a file to view, don't open the attachment.
Some e-mails may contain viruses or spyware that can harm your computer.

You can write lots of interesting thing on your online page, but something you must never do is put yourhouse address or phone number.
In fact, you shouldn´t give any information that could let strangers know your identity, because on the Internet you never know who is looking.
Be mindful when installing programs or agreeing to terms.
