No Eddie Van Halen... No Randy Rhoads? Without Jimi, Eddie, and Randy there is no such thing as guitar.

Those are the easy top 5. I would throw in Les Paul in there somewhere too considering his contributions to the music and especially the guitar industry.

The rest of the top 10 are debatable but I would definitely put them as the top 5 coming from a guitarist.
