See this is what every mod says. "it gives an unfair advantage". It doesnt. It doesn't help you pvp better. Show me one example of where someome who had gamma killed someone who didnt have gamma. U can download a texture pack and it looks exactly like gamma. Examplr dantehs pack.. Pls tell me how it gives an unfair advantage.

Why do you need EXTRA brightness? on dark maps like moonbase the dark can have an interesting effect on gameplay, furthermore, gamma can give players unfair advantages such as seeing chests which are hidden in the dark.

It doesn't give u a pvp advantage though.. And most packs with a light map are exactly the same as gamma.. Example dantehs pack. Pls b4 u respond go download his pack and try it out. Also bcfcAnt recently got banned for using a light map.

Resource packs Don't light up the sky. I never said PVP. I said gameplay. Resource packs don't make chests visible in what is meant to be "pitch black". Gamma allows players who hide at night in the darkness to be seen clear as day. Some players like to jump spawn in the darkness to get a kill.

But honestly, as long as you're not recording, feel free to use gamma as much as you want since they can't find out if you're using it or not.
