Maybe this isn't just me, but what I gathered from reading this thread is that women are the only victims of domestic abuse in Australia and that we must rid the world of the evil, abusive man. Let's not be sexist here and recognize that both sex's can be violent to their partner rather than telling half of the story. Nevertheless, you needn't forget that men also suffer from domestic abuse and 1/4 men residing in the United States have been victims of domestic abuse in their lifetimes. Now sorry to bash on this feminist parade, but men exist in this world too.

You make a good point. However most men that were injured or assaulted were assaulted by males also. While this topic is mainly based on domestic abuse ( E.G. Wife and husband and kids.) While violence against males is still an issue and I am not trying to justify violence against men its just that domestic violence against women is at a scary high.

I feel like a lot we're talking about is What female abuse is all about rather than How to fix it. As a 15 year old kid, I have no idea. I don't know the specifics of women being abused besides the domestic abuse. However, it's becoming apparent that society is trying hard to deal with people who both sexually harass women & dug women on dates. I will post the video here:

The common motto in society is that "one by one we can make a difference in the world yada yada yada..." That's not true. We can't make a difference in the world, it's just not possible. However, we can do our best to help people we know, and even random people in the streets, club, etc. If you can help one person, it feels like you can help the whole world.
