About domes

I don't want to spoil my idea for a map me and some others are going to start working on, but I was wondering if an oval-shaped dome is allowed. A circle one could work, but this type of map would work much better with an oval, mainly to make it so people can't run for so long. My guess would be that a circular dome is required, but can anyone tell me if we could use an oval?

For some reason in the sg4 sewers i always feel really bad when I kill people
