How do I do that? He knows what city I live in but that is it xDChange ip?
xDDDDHide under your covers.
haha x)xDDDD
Pretty sure it's only for routers with dynamic ip. If you have static ip you have to contact your internet provider in order to change it.I believe you can change your ip by turning off your router for 10-20 minutes. After you turn it back on you should have a new ip.
savageGuys, DOXing doesn't involve IPs, it involves getting someones personal information by quite a few different means. Though I suppose having someones IP is a start. Still, whoever is threatening to DOX you is pathetic, and doing something incredibly illegal. I'd like to bet though that they aren't even able to DOX you. It's a high level blackhat hacking "method", if you will. I doubt many 12-16 year old's know how to even go about doing it, unless he is paying someone to DOX you.
People who threaten to DOX someone are the lowest scum on the totempole, and are generally younger and don't know what the term really means. On the other hand, there's not much you can do if they really are, until they actually get some information. If they do get a lot of deep personal information, like your social security number, etc, contact the authorities and tell them your situation.
