Help for island map

I'm working with some friends to make an island map:a classic center island by the breathtaking landscape.But the map is big(radius of 250)but the island is not very big and there remains a large area of ​​sea to be used.I wanted to ask how can I fill all that space to better without "plagiarizing" the breeze island.

Maybe have it like a huge old fashioned ship battle in the water with cannon balls in the air and you can jump from ship to ship.
