PS3 Internal Hard Drive

So I did the mistake 1 year ago of buying a PS3 12gb Super Slim and not waiting for the prices to drop. Now I have a lot of games but I can't install most of them, because of the little amount of space I have.
I know how I can upgrade the internal hard drive by unplugging the old one and putting a new one, but I don't know what kind of hard drive I have to replace the old one with.
I did some research and I saw that it required a 2.5 inches HDD (Laptop-sized). I picked a Western Digital SATA3 500GB.
Is this going to be compatible or do I have to buy something else?
