Hi

So I bought a pair of headsets today that don't require any drivers to install. I plug the usb adapter device into my computer when the little sound icon next to the time has a nice red X on top of it. I click it and it leads to some troubleshooting.
Problem: Audio device is disabled.

So I decide to fix this myself. I right click the icon, and press recording devices. Suddenly, it just decides to stop working (can't press anything).

Has anyone experienced this? If so, how did you fix it?

Thanks :)

Hmmmm it's strange that you aren't able to click anything. Usually you are able to choose what you want disabled and enabled. I would try contacting the support of the whatever kind of computer you have.

It is really strange, and when you click enough the windows sad face thing comes up that forces you to restart your computer :c

Yeah I would definitely contact support from the brand of your computer.

Alright I sent an e-mail to them and hopefully I'll get a response soon, and I'll be sure to mention it on the thread for any other people with the same issue (if it actually helps)

In the meantime, if anyone has some suggestions be sure to let me know :)

*Update*
I'm having a nice conversation with this dude from Asus named Carter, but unfortunately, none of the solutions he's been giving me have actually worked. Strange thing is; it works regularly on another computer, so it's certain that it's a problem with my computer. And since it is disabled by default, there might be a chance that it has to do with the hardware of my notebook (or not, I don't know yet).
