Hey guys, I just want to take this opertunity to warn you of some series of events that have occurred to me before and after acceding websites such as MCGamer.
Once I click on or off a website, it will sometimes take me to a mysterious website. This is what I want to warn you about.
Here is the description.
It will take you to a page that looks identical to an FBI or police website, where it will tell you that your IP has been traced and locked because of you committing a serious crime online such as holding illegal content on your files. Unless you restart your PC, you will NOT be able to close down the website. This makes it all the more believable. Further more it will then prompt you to click a link taking you to PayPal or another way of payment, legitemently. It will then ask you to pay a fine starting from $100 -$2000 depending on your reason of crime.
What ever you do DO NOT be tricked into doing this as it will then have access to your card details and you will be scammed.
I nearly fell for this and it was the fact that my PC was actually prompting me to restart my computer for a update where I thought to restart it anyway to close down the webpage. This also happened when I was at my friends house, so it was not an IP problem for myself. This means, it is eligible to happen to anyone.
Do not fall for it
