This idea that he has about going undercover and infiltrating their 'gangs' has so many issues. One issue is being that this is not the real world. A way many cops infiltrate groups or gangs is by pretending to take on the action performed by the members in the group or doing as they do. You can't get into a hacker's gang because they generally are alone, or if they are in a Skype call or TeamSpeak it is highly unlikely they will just invite you, an outsider, who can foil their ways of hacking. You can't see a hacker in a game and say "Hey, I'm a hacker too. Got Skype?" I mean seriously..

A second issue with this is the risk factor. If those hackers do invite you to their Skype call or TeamSpeak they can nab your IP, and you know how the rest follows. You also say they will have no idea it's you doing this, but I mean, you just posted a thread saying it will be you doing this, and no one else.

No. I implied that if hackers use the forums then it would be easy to take notice because you described almost exactly on what you will be doing and that you will be on an account other than Vanth. Good day.

Your idea is good, clever even. The thing is, hackers from what I can tell, don't hang out in 'packs'. Hackers are generally solo players with the occasional double team of them. These hackers are not a gang, and therefore we would only take out one or two at a time. In addition, hackers don't usually stick around servers very long, and generally go on adrenaline sprees of hacking, then on and off slowly wearing out.

I do however, love the idea. But I just don't think it is the right thing for the servers/community.

I do see where you are coming from, and I agree that this would not be a good idea if lots of people were to do this. I just want to reduce the population of hackers on MCSG, hopefully this will help?

I do feel that if suddenly we started getting large amounts of hackers in an organized place it would be a good idea. I was more thinking of this in a clan sense, to where if you have a clan that is suspected of DDOSing during a Clan Battle or just in general, you could have a list of people who are not moderators to go in, apply, get close and gather sufficient evidence to ban and report to the authorities of the respected country.

Again, it is a great idea, but probably not the best to use on hackers. More practical uses could be found.

• Hackers are not pack animals, they are only really depraved solo players.
• If you meet a hacker, why bother befriending them when you can record and report them on the spot?
• How are you going too find these hackers? It is not like you analogy of infiltrating a gang where everyone is interconnected, hackers do not know each other.

I'm sorry but there is no way that this method can be more efficient or practical than record/report...
