So im in a game of MCSG and someone says "check my youtube channel!" and all that stuff. well im thinking ALMOST everyone in the community make a youtube channel and everyone makes Survival games video.. well why not Survival bingo? why not Battleground? thats just really weird..

The reason for that is, that Survival Games is a more popular gametype, which a lot of people know and like. It's sorta the "standard" of minecraft youtube videos.
However nowadays, as there are so many survival games videos, and as you stated above: almost everyone has a channel with survival games videos, it gets borning and if you want to be successful you cannot just make Sg videos.

Well JLioner already beat me to it but basically it's the most popular game type for the McGamer network. If you look at it similar to the economy, there is high demand for sg videos (because there are a lot of people who play/ enjoy them) but there is also a high supply (because there are so many videos and it is easy to just record your screen). The result is that it is difficult to gain a following easily with such a competitive market to try and thrive in. People don't really want to see battlegrounds because it's just mayhem, but a good combination of other MCGamer features and SG could prove successful!
